Faroese author and artist. I write novels, short stories, plays, poems for all ages, as well as I am a visual artist and illustrate some of my books. Currently chair person for the Faroese Writers Union.
Many of my books have been translated into other languages, and have won literary nominations and awards.
My work includes collaboration with two other authors, Áslaug Jónsdóttir from Iceland and Kalle Güettler from Sweden on a series of the 11 "Monsters" books starting with Nei! segði litla skrímsl (No! Said Little Monster) in 2004. They are published simultaneously in the Faroe Islands, Iceland and Sweden and have been translated into multiple other languages.
