Aubrey O’Brien is an award-winning interior designer and artist known for crafting deeply personal, emotionally intelligent spaces for a discerning, global clientele. With roots in Sarasota and a design practice shaped by years in New York City, Aubrey brings a rare blend of artistry, strategy, and vision to residential and commercial projects across the country, including homes in Greenwich, East Hampton, Martha’s Vineyard, Nantucket, Cape Cod, Albany, the Bahamas, and Park City.
As the founder and principal of Aubrey O’Brien, Inc., she offers concierge-level service to clients navigating home design during pivotal life transitions, blending architecture, art, and interiors into cohesive, elevated environments. Her portfolio spans everything from modern beach retreats to historic estates, always grounded in storytelling and layered with timeless detail.
Aubrey began her career designing custom interiors and suites at Walt Disney World Resorts, working under legendary Imagineer Wing Chao. She later joined the Fossil Group, designing luxury timepieces for international fashion brands. Her design journey also includes teaching interior design at the collegiate level and a prestigious artist residency at the Swatch Art Peace Hotel in Shanghai, China — selected by a panel that included George Clooney to represent the United States.
A Presidential Scholar and Commencement Speaker at Ringling College of Art and Design, Aubrey holds a BFA in Interior Design and a master’s degree from NYU’s Gallatin School, where she studied the intersection of memory, identity, and space. She is also a LEED Accredited Professional, committed to sustainability and quality in every facet of the built environment.
