Being part of the Debt Buddy team means I get to wake up every morning knowing that the work I do actually changes lives. Helping Australians get out of debt might sound straightforward from the outside, but for the people I sit down with every day, it is one of the most stressful and emotionally draining experiences they have ever faced. Debt does not just drain your bank account it drains your energy, your confidence, your relationships, and your ability to see a positive future. At Debt Buddy, we understand that deeply, and we treat every single person who comes to us with the respect, care, and seriousness their situation deserves.

Debt Buddy has been a trusted name in Australian debt relief since 2014, when Peter Curtis built the practice from the ground up with a clear and deliberate vision to create a service where the client always comes first. In my day to day work, I connect with people from all corners of Australia who are carrying debt in all shapes and sizes. Others are stretched thin across multiple personal loans with repayment schedules that simply no longer fit their income. Some have already started receiving legal notices and do not know where to turn or what their rights actually are. No matter what the situation looks like when someone first reaches out, my approach never changes listen carefully, assess everything thoroughly, and then lay out every available option with complete honesty and zero pressure.
