Spring is slowly starting to show up here in the north. The temperature is rising. The snow is melting and disappearing more and more.
The bears are waking up. Sometimes you can see them along the roads when you drive around. Especially before the leaves on the trees make it impossible to see them. In the spring they are hungry and they look for everything they can to make up for what they lost during a long sleeping winter. You can see it very well in the anthills that get a hard time when they are newly awake in the spring. The moose are calving, and these calves can be hot prey for a hungry bear.
